Welcome / New Practice Member Paperwork

Upon your arrival at Renegade Chiropractic bring with you a filled out copy of our new practice member paperwork. Please note that there is one paperwork for adults and separate paperwork for kids. If the paperwork is completed beforehand it will save you 10-15 minutes in the office. From the time you turn your paperwork in to the time you walk out our doors on the first day, it will be about an hour.

We do take insurance, so when you come to your first appointment be sure to bring your insurance card and driver’s license with you. We do a complimentary benefits check right in the office while you are having your first appointment.

Once all the paperwork has been received we give the whole family a tour of the office, so you know where everything is and you feel comfortable when you come for your follow up appointment.

Personalized Health History & Complete Consultation

Once you have received a tour of the office you will sit in one of our comfortable evaluation rooms with one of our highly trained team members. We go over your intake paperwork, ask any clarifications we have, and record all pertinent information regarding your health. We want to make sure we understand you and your health history, so we can have a correct idea of all you have been dealing with.

Once we fully understand you and where you are coming from we give a brief education about the nervous system, how chiropractic can benefit you, and how our office runs. We want to make sure we are both on the same page, so you can get the most out of your care. As we work together we will see great results.

Chiropractic Assessment

We utilize a couple different NASA-certified technology tools to get an exact assessment of your nervous system and to see how your body is functioning. The first tool that we use is a rolling thermal. The rolling thermal measures very small heat waves coming from each vertebrae in your spine. These heat waves allow us to assess the nerve interference you have going on at each vertebrae. It also tells us what level of nerve interference you have on each vertebrae and on what side that nerve interference is located. With such precise technology we are able to track your progress over time.

The second NASA-certified technology we use is to assess back musculature tonality. The muscles surrounding your spine play an intricate role in telling us how the nervous system is functioning. There are times when the nervous system is being suppressed so your functionality is low but interference is also low. It may look like you have very little nerve interference on the rolling thermal, but as we overlay the information we have from the muscle tonality scan we can get a fuller picture of how your body is functioning overall.

Once both of these scans have been performed we will go over the findings of each scan and how they relate to the symptoms you are feeling. We begin to see the bigger picture of your health and how we can help you in our office. Our goal is to discover the root cause of any dysfunction or disease within your body.

Digital Chiropractic Postural X-Rays

As the bigger picture of your health and body function emerges, the Doctor is able to determine If Chiropractic Postural X-Rays are necessary. We have an x-ray suite on site for your convenience and cost-effectiveness. Each case varies as to whether or not X-rays will be taken and which pictures are necessary. X-rays allow Doctor Taylor to see things such as disc spacing, degeneration, curvature, past bone trauma, and rotation. All of this information can be vital in determining how much care is needed for you to be feeling and functioning better.

These X-rays also allow Dr. Taylor to see any restrictions for care and what the possibilities are for improvement. To see is to know, to not see is to guess, and we never want to guess with your health!

At this point on your first day in the office you are finished! After hours Dr. Taylor will look at your intake paperwork, your assessments, and your x-rays (if taken), and he will prepare for the next step of your health journey.

Principled Doctor’s Report & Individualized Report of Findings

At your second appointment at Renegade Chiropractic you will understand why we do what we do, how we can help you, and the intricacies of your specific care plan. Bring a spouse or loved one to this appointment as there is a lot of information we cover, and it is nice to have a second set of eyes and ears to take it all in. We also provide free childcare!

While the kids are having fun in the kid area, we will discuss health and healing from A to Z, set expectations for care, and answer any questions that you may have. We will go over our findings from your chiropractic assessment and x-rays, and then we will provide you and your family with tailored recommendations to help you achieve your health goals! Once you understand your health and how we are going to help you achieve your goals you will receive your first specific, scientific, chiropractic adjustment.

This appointment is approximately 90 minutes long. We know this is a long appointment, and we purposely make it long enough so you can ask any questions you need to, and we hear all you have to say.

Road to Health

Many people have the idea that their journey to health will be a steady incline upward. While this is true for some people it is more common to see and feel progress at first and then go backwards and then forwards again. Health is a lifelong journey with many ups and downs. As we work together steady progress will be made over time.

The process of healing is a two-way street, navigated by both Dr. Taylor Dietz and you. In order to experience healthcare improvements, you will need to commit to your appointments and commit to taking all necessary steps and lifestyle changes needed to see progress. Patience is essential when overcoming health challenges. Some see improvements right away while others may take more time. At first, some temporary stiffness and discomforts are normal. These healing sensations are a sign of your body correcting itself as nervous system function is restored.

This journey is very fulfilling and very exciting. We are grateful to be on the health journey together.
